About the stone

Black Aswan brings the gravity of a dark stone with enough grey flecking to soften it, avoiding the flatness of an engineered black. Polished, it gives a deep reflective surface for feature walls, reception desks and worktops; it also pairs well with lighter Egyptian granites as borders and inlays.

Visual characteristics

  • Near-black to very dark grey ground
  • Subtle grey speckles
  • High contrast against light stones for borders and inlays

Typical applications

Recommendations based on granite performance; confirm suitability for your project conditions.
